[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, mouse droppings were found in the luxury boxes of Old Trafford, which cost £600 per person, with food hygiene ratings dropping again to two stars. It is worth noting that Old Trafford’s rating was once reduced to one star due to serving undercooked chicken at a corporate private event. Subsequently, during an inspection in November, Old Trafford’s rating improved to four stars. However, during a subsequent health check, droppings were found again, causing the rating to plummet from four stars back down to two stars. In the months since, Old Trafford has been working hard to regain its status. Environmental health experts completed their inspection report in mid-April, detailing the discovery of mouse droppings in seven areas within the stadium — including the Ambassador Lounge, Manchester Suite, and Box 7, among others. Some of the droppings were reportedly found beneath buffet counters. Other notable issues included certain food labeling inaccuracies; for instance, a box of pesto was labeled as good for “one month,” despite the manufacturer advising consumption within eight days. As for how Manchester United fans feel about this, it remains to be seen.
