[Saba Sports News] According to Italian media reports, Napoli once asked Victor Osimhen to bear the solidarity fee required for his transfer, which led to his furious outburst and nearly resulted in a physical confrontation. Reports indicate that Osimhen had previously agreed to join Al-Ittihad, who offered him a massive annual salary of €30 million; however, Napoli and Al-Ittihad failed to reach an agreement. Napoli’s initial asking price was €80 million, while Al-Ittihad’s offer remained at €65 million. Subsequently, Napoli lowered their asking price to around €70 million, which was their bottom line. In short, the final disagreement between the two clubs was only €5 million; however, from this point on, tensions escalated because Napoli also demanded that Osimhen bear the solidarity fee required for the transfer. This demand infuriated Osimhen; he insulted Napoli’s relevant personnel and nearly erupted into a physical confrontation. Since that day, everything has unfolded as it is now: Osimhen was unable to move to Saudi Arabia and has been excluded from Napoli’s squad.
