[Saba Sports News] ndiana Pacers guard Kyle Mangas, who played alongside Bronny James in the Summer League, recently praised the Los Angeles Lakers rookie on the Locked On Pacers podcast.
Mangas spoke highly of Bronny, calling him a “super nice guy” who is “quiet, laid back, and a hard worker.” However, he also noted the intense media attention Bronny faces, recalling how crowds would gather just to see him get off the bus.
Mangas expressed empathy for the pressure Bronny is under but praised how well the young player handled it. He also cast doubt on earlier reports suggesting Bronny received special treatment during Summer League, highlighting the positive atmosphere in the locker room.
Despite not playing against the Rockets due to an injury, Mangas emphasized that Bronny remained unfazed by the attention, having grown accustomed to the spotlight over the years.
Mangas, who went undrafted in 2021, recently rejoined the Pacers on an Exhibit 10 contract and is expected to spend time in the G League, where he might face off against Bronny in the future.
