[Saba Sports News] Since the F1 Red Bull Racing Team announced that Chief Technical Officer Adrian Newey would be leaving the Red Bull Group in the first quarter of 2025, his future has become the focus of attention for other teams. Many teams are eager to secure the services of this legendary designer. According to the latest news from media sources, Newey has declined an invitation from Ferrari. It is reported that Ferrari was unwilling to engage in a salary war or increase Newey’s salary in order to hire him. Newey is a highly acclaimed racing car designer in the history of F1. Since joining Red Bull Racing in 2006, his vision and technical leadership have brought the team 7 F1 annual driver championships, 6 F1 annual team championship trophies, a total of 118 victories, and 101 pole positions. Prior to that, he also achieved great success with Williams and McLaren. As for Newey’s future, it is not unlikely that he may join a small or medium-sized team or even take an extended vacation before considering work-related matters.
