[Saba Sports News] As the 2025 season nears its end, Lando Norris revealed that he and his teammate Oscar Piastri have requested McLaren to reduce their joint social media shoots. Since becoming teammates, the duo have not only shown comparable performance on the track but have also frequently appeared together in light-hearted content on the team’s social media platforms. However, as the championship fight intensified this season, both drivers expressed a desire to focus more energy on the racing itself. Norris explained this during the pre-race press conference for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, stating he is a racing driver, here to compete, not to shoot numerous social media videos. Despite this, Norris emphasized that their relationship has not deteriorated at all and is even better than before. They both understand that on-track competition and off-track camaraderie are separate matters. During the interview, Norris even praised Piastri generously, noting his teammate is very calm, easy-going, and always seems relaxed. He expressed admiration for Piastri’s composed demeanor and said it’s hard to tell his emotional fluctuations.
