[Saba Sports News] During the press conference at the Spanish Grand Prix, Lando Norris responded aggressively to questions about securing the annual championship, retorting: “Can’t you stop asking this question every week? All I care about is the next trophy!” The newly crowned Monaco Grand Prix champion directly tore apart the preconceived media scripts, directly targeting reigning quadruple champion Max Verstappen: “He openly crushed us in Emilian, yet you act like he doesn’t exist? Get real!” Later, another reporter ineptly suggested that this season’s championship would be an internal battle for McLaren. Norris smirked, pointing out that Verstappen had reached the podium three times in the past five races. Even if the Red Bull car lags by 0.5 seconds per lap, they could still secure fourth place in Monaco. The data corroborated Norris’ concerns: Verstappen leads the league in overtakes this season with 42 instances. Although the RB21 car has experienced instability issues, its single-lap speed remains exceptional. In response, Verstappen, present at a neighboring press conference, responded: “Norris is right; we still have nuclear-grade power left.”
