[Saba Sports News] According to German media reports, Vincent Kompany has allowed Michael Olise to train with earrings. It was noted that Olise stood out during the final training session before the Champions League match against Sporting Lisbon on Monday afternoon, wearing two large, eye-catching diamond earrings during Kompany’s training session. Kompany permits players to wear earrings during training, allowing Olise to continue sporting his beloved diamond accessories. This contrasts with previous Bayern Munich coaches who had explicitly banned the wearing of earrings and diamond studs.
For instance, Hansi Flick initially tolerated the wearing of accessories during training in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic due to social distancing measures. However, beginning in May 2020, as contact training resumed and the risk of injuries was highlighted, Flick instructed players like Alphonso Davies and Serge Gnabry to remove their diamond earrings.
Nevertheless, Kompany seems unbothered by Olise’s flashy appearance, as it is clear that he can still create highlight moments for the team on the field without those accessories.
