[Saba Sports News] Australian driver Oscar Piastri participated in the Hungarian F1 Grand Prix with a rib fracture and astonishingly won his first career race. There is new development regarding this matter; Piastri suspects that his recent rib fracture may be related to his racing seat. He stated that the seat was made at the beginning of the season and sometimes has some discrepancies that certain tracks do not expose. From Barcelona to Austria and then to the British Grand Prix, these three tracks are physically demanding, and pressure points on the seat ultimately caused his ribs to give way. Piastri believes that there may have been an issue with his ribs during the Barcelona Grand Prix, which became very painful during the Austrian Grand Prix, and he felt quite uncomfortable during the days leading up to the British Grand Prix. The team made some adjustments and replaced and repaired the seat during the summer break; now the issue has been resolved. Fans speculate that Piastri’s X-ray scan was conducted the day after the British Grand Prix, confirming that his rib fracture occurred before that race, likely persisting for about three races; it is estimated that it fractured at some point during the Austrian Grand Prix.
