[Saba Sports News] According to UK media reports, James Ratcliffe is facing more backlash as Manchester United fans protest against the club’s ticket price increases and other operational strategies. During the 1-0 victory over Fulham, some Manchester United fans were shouting at Ratcliffe. The club announced a uniform ticket price of £66 for members in the middle of the season without prior consultation with fans, which sparked anger, especially as there are no discounts for children or retirees. Concerns are growing about potential ticket price hikes for the next season, escalating tensions. A new survey reveals the extent of discontent among Manchester United fans, who threaten to protest both in person and online regarding their treatment. In a survey conducted by the Fan Coalition (FC58), 92% of respondents expressed dissatisfaction with the current ticket prices, while 91.5% were unhappy with the atmosphere at Old Trafford. FC58 stated that nearly 25,000 responses were received from 77,000 members. It is reported that as many as 89.2% of fans are willing to participate in protests at Old Trafford or elsewhere, and 95.2% are willing to participate in online protests.
