[Saba Sports News] According to French media, the long-standing dispute between Kylian Mbappe and his former club Paris Saint-Germain continues. Since Mbappe left PSG during the summer transfer window after seven years of cooperation, the issue of unpaid wages has not been satisfactorily resolved. Mbappe is demanding that PSG pay €55 million in unpaid wages and bonuses, and the legal committee of the French Professional Football League (LFP) has also requested that PSG pay this amount. During the three months of dispute, PSG has consistently refused to pay this amount. PSG believes that they reached a verbal agreement with Mbappe, which stated that if the player left on a free transfer, PSG would not suffer financially, and Mbappe indeed left on a free transfer. Thus, PSG rejected Mbappe’s request for the payment of overdue wages and bonuses. Additionally, the French Football Federation made the same ruling, supporting PSG’s refusal to pay Mbappe unpaid wages. However, PSG has appealed again, requesting a re-examination of the case. It is reported that this request has been denied. Although Mbappe has once again won in the wage dispute, the issue remains unresolved.
