[Saba Sports News] Croatian international Ivan Rakitic recently posted on social media, sharing a photo with his compatriot Luka Modric, who has joined AC Milan, along with a song supporting Milan. However, it turned out that the song contained offensive content toward Juventus. After fans pointed this out, Rakitic quickly deleted the post and issued an apology, stating: “I sincerely apologize to Juventus fans. My intention was only to congratulate my friend Modric with a song related to AC Milan, without realizing the historical background or lyrics of the song. I absolutely did not intend to offend anyone, especially the respected Juventus club.” The editor believes that although Rakitic’s actions were unintentional, they still hurt the feelings of Juventus fans. This shows how complex the emotional ties and rivalries between football clubs can be, and any words or actions involving club honor and fan emotions can spark attention and controversy.
