[Saba Sports News] Former F1 driver Ralf Schumacher recently discussed the Australian Grand Prix, the opening race of the new F1 season, during a television interview, praising McLaren’s outstanding performance. He even suggested that McLaren is more competitive than Red Bull. In the new F1 season, McLaren’s Lando Norris performed exceptionally well, securing a podium finish, while Red Bull’s Max Verstappen finished second. Ralf noted that McLaren has a clear advantage, attributing it to their technical team’s excellent handling of the MCL39 car, which exhibited strong racing performance. In contrast, he pointed out that the Red Bull RB21 car faces some technical issues, such as insufficient mechanical grip in low-speed corners and worsening problems on bumpy sections, which put them at a disadvantage in medium and low-speed corners. However, the editor believes that Red Bull possesses strong technical capabilities and extensive experience, which may enable them to resolve these technical issues and enhance their competitiveness in upcoming races, making it premature to draw definitive conclusions at this stage.
