[Saba Sports News] Red Bull Racing’s junior driver Arvid Lindblad won the Italian F4 championship in 2023 and the F3 championship in 2024, and he will advance to F2 next year. According to motorsport media MOTORSPORTWEEK, Red Bull Racing intends to prepare a Formula 1 seat for Lindblad in 2026. Red Bull team principal Christian Horner stated that if the Red Bull team cannot provide an opportunity for Yuki Tsunoda after the 2025 season, they will not stand in his way if he decides to leave. If Tsunoda departs, a seat will open up in the Red Bull junior team for the 2026 season, likely becoming a partnership between Lindblad and Isack Hadjar. Horner has previously praised Lindblad as a “talented driver, absolutely a genius of the future.” In response, Red Bull’s motorsport advisor Helmut Marko revealed plans to have Lindblad participate in regional Formula racing in New Zealand during the 2025 season to earn enough super license points and to arrange a TPC test for him.
