[Saba Sports News] Recently, Sauber team principal Mattia Binotto discussed the vacant second seat for next season during a media interview. He stated that the team is still looking for suitable candidates; however, when asked whether Mick Schumacher has the capability to fill the second seat, Binotto expressed his doubts about Schumacher’s suitability for that position. After being dropped by Haas at the end of 2022, Schumacher has been serving as a reserve driver for Mercedes and has been linked with teams like Mercedes, AlphaTauri, and Williams this year, but none have chosen him. Therefore, Schumacher’s future in F1 is filled with uncertainty. On one hand, he has been excluded by multiple teams, including Sauber. This decision by Binotto is a significant blow for him and suggests that Schumacher’s F1 career may be coming to an end since he may not participate in F1 in the future.
