[Saba Sports News] According to recent reports from international media, local authorities in Germany have uncovered a case of blackmail that is connected to the renowned F1 driver Michael Schumacher. It has been revealed that a former security guard, who had previously worked for the Schumacher family, misused his position to steal 1,500 medical documents and data pertaining to Michael Schumacher’s health. This included photographs, videos, medication lists, and Schumacher’s medical records. Subsequently, he used these materials to extort the Schumacher family, demanding a payment of £12 million in exchange for the medical files. Eventually, the Schumacher family chose to involve the police, leading to the arrest of three suspects. The police were able to identify the suspects through technical tracing while investigating the source of the medical documents. Since his skiing accident in 2013, Schumacher has remained out of the public eye for nearly a decade, with his health being kept strictly confidential. People continue to hold hope for his recovery and eventual return to the public sphere.
