Tensions flared in the fourth quarter after Draymond Green got into a verbal exchange with Fred VanVleet, prompting players from both teams to crowd around.
Amid the chaos, Eason was seen throwing a towel across the court at Spencer, earning himself a technical foul. Steph Curry knocked down the ensuing free throw, cutting the Rockets’ lead to 99-81.
Houston went on to win 109-94, tying the series at one game apiece. Spencer, despite being targeted in the towel incident, had an efficient outing with 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting.
