Sports News] According to French media reports, Paris Saint-Germain’s average
monthly salary for players is 937,500 euros. This information is based on the
team’s salary expenditure for the 2022-23 season, which ranked second in Europe
at 639.3 million euros, just behind Barcelona. The total salary expenditure for
the previous season, 2021-22, was reported to be 729 million euros. The
decrease in salary expenses can be attributed to the departure of several
high-earning star players from the team. It is expected that Paris Saint-Germain’s
total salary expenditure for the 2023-24 season will further decrease,
especially with Kylian Mbappe set to leave the team. This departure will create
additional financial space for the club. Currently, Mbappe has the highest
monthly salary in the team, amounting to 6 million euros. Following him are
Ousmane Dembele and Marquinhos, with monthly salaries reaching 1.12 million
euros, and Lucas Hernandez and Milan Skriniar, both earning 1.11 million euros
per month. The team’s average monthly salary of 937,500 euros remains quite
high. With Mbappe’s impending departure, the club will have more flexibility in
terms of salary distribution and the opportunity to bring in new players. This
will likely lead to a reconsideration of how wages are allocated within the
team.
