German media reports suggest that the reason behind this decision is not only Bayern Munich’s reluctance to renew Tuchel’s contract as a show of trust, but also financial factors. Tuchel’s original contract was set to expire next year, and he had requested Bayern Munich to extend it until 2026 or 2027 as a condition to continue coaching. However, Bayern Munich did not agree to these terms, which made Tuchel feel distrust and ultimately led to his rejection of the club. Reports suggest that Tuchel’s dissatisfaction stems not only from the contract length but also from the salary conditions. During his tenure as Bayern Munich coach, Tuchel earned an annual salary of approximately 9 million euros. It is said that Tuchel and his team requested a higher salary during negotiations with Bayern Munich, but the club only offered an additional 500,000 euros. As a result, the negotiations reached an impasse, and the two parties had no choice but to part ways.
