[Saba Sports News] During the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix last weekend, Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc started behind teammate Carlos Sainz. After the start, Leclerc quickly overtook his teammate and Pierre Gasly, beginning to pressure leader George Russell. Subsequently, Leclerc completed his first pit stop early, and the team instructed Sainz to stay behind Leclerc. After the second pit stop, Leclerc switched to new hard tires and lost speed. At this point, Sainz did not follow team orders and attempted to overtake Leclerc. Despite repeated instructions from the track engineer not to pressure Leclerc, Sainz managed to overtake him a few corners later and ultimately finished third, while Leclerc missed the podium. After the race, Leclerc angrily cursed at Sainz over the radio, using six F-word expletives to express his anger, which prompted Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur to remind him to quiet down. The tension between the two Ferrari drivers became a focal topic after the race. Today, Vasseur responded to the topic, stating that the team has resolved the issue internally and similar situations will not happen again. Currently, Ferrari trails the leaders McLaren by 24 points in the Constructors’ Championship, with two races left in the season, and Vasseur hopes both drivers will remain united in pursuit of the championship.
