[Saba Sports News] The FIA has just officially announced that Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen was penalized with a 5-second time penalty and a deduction of 1 point from his super license for speeding during a virtual safety car period. This marks the seventh point he has lost in the past year, drawing significant media attention. These deductions have occurred due to collisions with other drivers and speeding under special circumstances. Although the likelihood of Verstappen losing all his license points is minimal, the deductions could affect his mindset during races. As a top driver, losing points may make him more cautious in future races but could also create additional pressure. If he accumulates too many points deductions leading to a race ban, he would miss out on scoring points in that race, which could significantly impact his competitive standing for the entire season.
