[Saba Sports News] Oscar Piastri experienced a roller-coaster journey in the 2025 season as a championship contender, and his manager, Mark Webber, believes this experience is unprecedented. Webber even compared Piastri’s current situation to Hamilton’s rookie season in 2007, emphasizing that the young driver is undergoing an extremely rare growth process. Webber revealed that his role now is more about guidance – encouraging, comforting, and reminding Piastri to continue working hard. He noted that Piastri is young and passionate, and this experience is both exciting and unfamiliar to him. Webber also pointed out that Piastri has not lost motivation, but he must rediscover himself through adversity and demonstrate the resilience of a championship contender. With only three races left in the season, Lando Norris is in top form, leading his teammate Piastri by 24 points, while reigning champion Verstappen is still in pursuit but trails the leader by 49 points. In comparison, Piastri has the least experience, having only been in F1 for three years, yet he has already been thrust into the championship spotlight.
