[Saba Sports News] According to motorsport.com, at the 2025 F1 Italian Grand Prix, Carlos Sainz finished only 11th, out of the points, while his teammate Alexander Albon took seventh place. Williams Team Principal James Vowles stated after the race that the team needs to “lift” Sainz’s confidence and help him move past the disappointment of Monza. Vowles said in his post-race comments: “Albon’s P7 was an outstanding drive, his first stint on the hard tyre was particularly impressive. Sainz also played the team game and helped the overall strategy. It proves again what we’ve been saying: the car pace is there, but we didn’t get it right in qualifying. The tyre operating window is on a knife-edge, we must solve it quickly, or we will lose more points.” Vowles also commented on Sainz’s performance: “Sainz’s approach was actually correct, he was pushing, had passed Bearman, and was moving towards the points. I was confident we could get at least P9, maybe higher. But to come away with zero points is incredibly frustrating. I know how he feels, and our job is to pick him back up, keep the team united and strong. Those are our values and our strength.”
