[Saba Sports News] Julius Randle’s impressive performance on Saturday didn’t seem to impress one particular opponent.
Randle, a key player for the New York Knicks, scored an impressive 39 points on 13-of-23 shooting in their game against the Washington Wizards, narrowly missing his season high of 41. His effort led the Knicks to a solid 121-105 win.
However, Wizards forward Deni Avdija had an unusual take when reporters questioned him about Randle’s performance.
Avdija downplayed Randle’s skills, saying, “He’s not that tough to guard. He’s aggressive, picks his spots, and is focused on scoring. A big guy who drives into the lane and draws fouls, that’s about it.”
