- [Saba Sports News] Recently, some fans reported that the job advertisement for Zheng Siwei’s international badminton base mentioned charging training fees to applicants, which violated relevant provisions of the Labor Law, thus triggering heated discussions among fans. The job advertisement has now been removed. Some fans have screenshots of the relevant job information from the base. Judging from the content, the fee for coaches is $68 USD, and it is particularly noted that this fee is not for profit, but for use on venue, equipment consumables, and teaching. In response, fans expressed concerns about Zheng Siwei’s business path, as according to China’s relevant laws and regulations, companies are prohibited from charging training fees during recruitment, and employers are not allowed to collect any financial items (such as deposits, training fees, uniforms) from workers under any name, nor withhold certificates. Article 9 of the Labor Contract Law clearly stipulates that if an employer violates this regulation, employees can complain to the labor inspection department and request the return of the fees and compensation for losses.
