[Saba Sports News] On the eve of the F1 Chinese Grand Prix, the F1 website published an interview with Zhou Guanyu, where he revealed that joining Ferrari as a reserve driver allows him to gain experience and the opportunity to learn from exceptional drivers like Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc. Zhou expressed a strong desire to return to racing and to secure a full-time F1 driver contract, stating that his long-term goals are clear and direct. However, for now, he views the reserve driver role as very important and doesn’t feel neglected; instead, he believes he has significant responsibilities to the team and influences their quest for race victories, looking forward to starting a new season with Ferrari in this new role. As Cadillac Racing will officially enter F1 next year, Zhou’s close relationship with team principal Graeme Lowdon, who has previously served as his manager, makes him a strong candidate for a seat with Cadillac next year.
