[Saba Sports
News] According to a report from Saba Sports, Ciro Immobile, a player for
Lazio, has faced insults and attacks from extreme fans. The incidents occurred
following Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri’s resignation, during which he stated that
the players were no longer following him. Rumors circulated that Immobile was
the leading player in opposition to Sarri, leading to criticism from many fans.
This week, when Immobile was accompanying his 4-year-old son Mattia to school,
they were confronted by a group of extreme Lazio fans at the school gate. The
fans surrounded Immobile and his son, hurling insults and launching personal
attacks. Immobile’s wife, Jessica Melina, also faced a similar situation. In
response, Immobile has hired a lawyer to take legal action against those
suspected of defaming him. The report suggests that these incidents were fueled
by certain media reporters who incited and supported hatred through social
media. These reporters spread hate speech against Immobile and disseminated
false news that had no basis in reality. The remarks made by these individuals
are deemed defamatory and have caused harm to Immobile’s personal and
professional reputation.
