[Saba Sports News] After learning about LeBron James’ latest media venture, Draymond Green publicly called out his friend for not yet scheduling an appearance on his podcast, ‘The Draymond Green Show.’ However, this week, James confirmed his upcoming appearance on the show in a comment on Instagram, exciting fans for another highlight of the year.
“He knows I’m going to do his pod,” James wrote, accompanied by a series of laughing emojis. Despite Green already anticipating James as a future guest, he didn’t hesitate to playfully call out the NBA legend in front of his fans.
Following the launch of ‘The Mind Game’ podcast with JJ Redick, LeBron James gears up for his most significant media campaign since ‘The Shop,’ spanning over four seasons. Fans eagerly await this new content, but it’s not James’ first foray into such projects, and it certainly won’t be his last.
In 2021, James starred in his own movie, ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy,’ which grossed approximately $163 million worldwide. While the film received mixed reviews, it marked James’ growing investment in the entertainment and media industry.
Since relocating to Los Angeles full-time in 2018, James has significantly expanded his SpringHill production company, quietly emerging as a major player in the movie industry.
As James continues to build his media empire, including movies, documentaries, and podcasts, it’s likely that he’ll eventually transition full-time into these projects post-retirement. However, before that, he’ll need to fulfill a promise to a friend and ensure he gives Draymond Green the podcast opportunity he’s eagerly awaiting.
