[Saba Sports News] Ranjeet Singh, a traffic police officer in Indore, recently shared his admiration for Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma on Facebook. He recounted an incident from India’s previous visit to Indore for a match. Ranjeet had hoped for an autograph from Rohit but couldn’t get it due to his work responsibilities.

However, during India’s latest visit to Holkar Cricket Stadium for the second T20I against Afghanistan, Rohit remembered Ranjeet’s request. In a thoughtful gesture, Rohit sent an autographed note to Ranjeet through a bus driver. The note, bearing the message “Love your energy, wish you a lot of success” along with Rohit’s signature, has become one of Ranjeet’s most treasured possessions.
In related news, Rohit Sharma is striving to regain his form in the T20I series against Afghanistan. Both he and Virat Kohli, two of India’s most seasoned players, returned to the T20I squad after a 14-month hiatus. While Kohli missed the first match for personal reasons and made a comeback with a 29-run inning in the second match in Indore, Rohit has faced challenges in his return.
He was run out for a duck in the first match and dismissed on the first ball in Indore. Despite these setbacks, Rohit, who is 36 years old, has led India to a series victory and aims to end with a high score in the third T20I in Bengaluru on January 17.
