In Mohali, he scored an unbeaten 60 off 40 deliveries, followed by an impressive 63* off 32 balls in Indore. His powerful hitting has earned praise from cricket pundits, and Dube himself attributes his success to his IPL team, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), and its captain, MS Dhoni.
Since joining the five-time IPL champions in 2022, Dube has had a considerable impact. In the 2023 IPL season, he scored 418 runs across 16 matches, playing a crucial role in CSK’s championship win. His performance in the IPL paved the way for his return to the Indian team, where he has continued to excel. Dube credits CSK for boosting his confidence and believing in his abilities, which has allowed him to play his natural game in T20 cricket.
