Sports News] According to reports from Spanish media, the Bernabeu Stadium, the
home ground of Real Madrid in La Liga, is nearing the completion of its
upgrade. However, many Real Madrid fans have expressed dissatisfaction with the
new stadium’s facilities. It has been reported that numerous fans have taken to
social media to voice their complaints. They have pointed out issues such as
fewer restrooms compared to before the renovation, leading to overcrowding
during breaks in the game. Additionally, the increased number of seats has
resulted in smaller distances between seats, causing discomfort while watching
the game. Some fans have even expressed disappointment on Real Madrid’s social
media platforms, stating that despite the renovation project costing over 1
billion euros, these issues were not adequately addressed. The new Bernabeu
Stadium will have an additional 4,000 seats, raising the capacity to 85,000. It
will also feature an expanded VIP area and new facilities like lifts and
telescopic canopies. Real Madrid intend to utilize the new venue for non-football
events, including concerts, meetings, and rugby games.
