[Saba Sports News] In his recent book, “The Beckham House: Money, Sex, and Power,” investigative reporter Tom Bower has revealed two significant marital crises faced by David and Victoria Beckham. The first crisis occurred in 2016 when their separate lives led to a rift developing in their relationship. They became distant from each other, barely speaking and maintaining a formal, almost business-like, relationship. The second crisis arose in 2018, marking another low point in their union. Beckham angered Victoria when he stated in an Australian TV interview that his marriage required “hard work.” Upon seeing the interview, Victoria felt outraged and baffled by his remarks, believing that he had undone all her efforts to establish a happy family. As a result, Victoria accused Beckham of being her ambitious “enemy” and withdrew to a hotel for two days.
