Karnicnik broke the deadlock for Slovenia but Serbia’s Jović equalized in stoppage time. In the end, Slovenia and Serbia 1-1 draw, two points from two group games, temporarily second place in the group. Serbia have one point from two rounds.

In the last five meetings, Serbia has won one, drawn three and lost one, scoring eight goals and losing six. In the first group stage, Slovenia drew with Denmark and Serbia lost to England. Tadic returned to the first team, while Kostić missed the whole Euro with injury, and Milinković moved to the bench. Slovenia kept their opening line-up.
In the fourth minute, Slovenia’s Čerin had a long-range shot from in front of the box that was saved by Serbia goalkeeper Rajković. In the eighth minute, Malakar burst into the box and shot from a small Angle, which was again blocked by Rajkovic. It was a fantastic game, with both goalkeepers doing well.
