[Saba Sports News] As he prepares for what might be his final season in Miami, Jimmy Butler is reportedly eyeing the Brooklyn Nets as a potential future destination.
According to Brian Lewis of the New York Post, Butler “likes” the Nets as a free agent option when he becomes eligible in 2025.
The Nets, currently rebuilding, are expected to have max-level cap space by then, especially after Ben Simmons’ contract expires. Butler, 34, has a $52.4 million player option for the 2025-26 season, which he could decline to explore free agency.
While the Heat remain hopeful of keeping Butler, the Nets could emerge as a serious contender for his services.
