[Saba Sports News] Jordan Poole and Draymond Green clearly still have tension between them.
During Monday’s Wizards-Warriors game, Poole hit a deep three-pointer over Green near the end of the second quarter and pointed at him theatrically.
Green responded by pointing back at Poole when Steph Curry sank a three on the next play. Watching Green taunt Poole over Curry’s shot added a bit of humor, though the history between the two is undeniable.
Former teammates from 2019 to 2023, Poole and Green won a title together in 2022. However, their relationship soured after Green’s infamous punch during a Warriors practice in 2022.
Even team owner Joe Lacob later admitted their bond was irreparable, leading to Poole’s trade to the Wizards in 2023.
Since then, both players have taken subtle jabs at each other, making their recent face-off in the 2024-25 season a predictable clash.
