[Saba Sports News] NBA officials have announced that the Philadelphia 76ers star center Joel Embiid has been suspended for three games without pay for shoving members of the media.

Officials said Embiid’s suspension will begin in the next NBA regular season for which he is eligible. If Embiid is eligible to play before his next game, he would be barred from playing in three games against the Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers and Charlotte Hornets before returning as soon as Nov. 13 against the New York Knicks.
The 76ers are on a three-game losing streak, with a 1-5 record and the second-worst record in the Eastern Conference, and need Embiid’s return to boost morale and record.
