[Saba Sports News] The Dallas Mavericks (6-7) snapped a four-game losing streak by beating the SAN Antonio Spurs (6-8) 110-93 at home as the NBA regular season continued. Kyrie Irving was all-around with 22 points, eight rebounds and six assists, while Daniel Gafford came off the bench to finish with 22 points, seven rebounds and three blocks in the second and third quarters to help the Mavericks win. The Spurs, without Victor Wembanyama, suffered a second straight loss.

Luka Dončić added 16 points, six rebounds and six assists in addition to Irving and Gafod for the Mavericks, Jaden Hardy scored 12 points and Tristan Thompson added nine. For the Spurs, Zach Collins, starting in place of Vumbanyama, had a team-high 20 points and six rebounds, while Sandro Mamukelashvili added 14 points and six rebounds. Julian Champagnie contributed 13 points and Malaki Branham added 12.
After the game began, the Mavericks first power, Thompson scored twice to help the team to a 6-0 start. The Spurs then tied the game at 11 on 3-pointers from Kai Jones and Paul Kasar. The Spurs took a 28-23 lead in the first quarter on Chapagne’s 3-pointer and drive.
