[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Manchester United’s first-team head chef Omar Mezyane has left the club to join the McLaren F1 team as their chef. Omar Mezyane joined Manchester United two years ago, having previously served as head chef for the England national football team and the England cricket team. It is reported that Mezyane primarily worked at the Carrington training base and was well-liked by the first-team players. He played a significant role in providing a richer menu and customized nutrition plans for the players. During travel and tours, Mezyane would carefully incorporate local cuisine into the players’ meals, allowing them to experience local culture. For each away game, he would travel with one of the three assistant chefs and always left a day early to ensure the food at the team hotel met standards. However, Mezyane has now left Manchester United and has made a direct switch to another sports field by joining McLaren as their head chef.
