[Saba Sports News] F1 renowned host Jeremy Clarkson published an article in The Sun, expressing his belief that British driver Lewis Hamilton’s move to the Ferrari team has other reasons. Clarkson suggests that if Hamilton joined Ferrari to chase a record eighth world championship, he should have been eager to understand the car’s performance and details from his first day at the factory, rather than posing for promotional photos in a suit and tie while arriving in an SUV and taking selfies with fans under the gaze of cameras. Additionally, Hamilton’s new house is not near the Ferrari team headquarters but in Milan, and he chose to commute using a Fiat helicopter instead of a Ferrari road car. So, what is Hamilton now? A driver or a superstar? After joining Ferrari, Hamilton faces the challenging task of defeating his teammate Charles Leclerc. Leclerc speaks Italian, is familiar with the team, won’t spend much time posing for photos, and is considered by many as the fastest driver in F1 based on his lap performance. Perhaps Hamilton realizes this and knows he is past his peak, aware that the Ferrari team is the jewel in the crown of motorsport, and he doesn’t want to retire without having served the Ferrari team.
