[Saba Sports News] Miami Heat veteran Kevin Love couldn’t resist taking another subtle shot at his former teammate, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James.
This time, Love responded to LeBron’s recent social media post featuring Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, using a 2015 tweet as ammunition.
Before Doncic made his Lakers debut, James referenced his old “fit out” advice, which he originally directed at Love during their time with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
After Luka and Reaves put up big numbers in their first game together, LeBron posted their stats with a freezing face emoji, implying they were “cold as F.” Love quickly jumped into the comments, writing:
“I was a 0,” referencing both his jersey number and his role alongside James during their Heat and Cavs days.
Fans reacted with laughing emojis, seeing it as another lighthearted jab from Love, who has made a habit of playfully trolling his former teammates.
Recently, he chronicled Jimmy Butler’s final days in Miami using movie references, and now he’s shifted focus to LeBron’s excitement over the Lakers acquiring Doncic.
Love also brought back an old grudge from 2015, reposting LeBron’s infamous “stop trying to FIT-OUT and just FIT-IN” tweet—widely seen at the time as a dig at Love adjusting to his role in Cleveland.
While the two eventually won a championship together in 2016, it seems Love hasn’t forgotten the moment and took this as the perfect opportunity to remind James.
