[Saba Sports News] Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown is keeping his focus on basketball after reportedly breaking up with WNBA player Kysre Gondrezick.
According to Page Six’s Carlos Greer, the couple split at the start of the NBA season after Brown began distancing himself to prioritize his game.
Brown, 28, and Gondrezick, 27, began dating last year and were spotted together at the Celtics’ 2023-24 championship parade. They also had a viral moment together during NBA Summer League.
Gondrezick, the daughter of late NBA guard Grant Gondrezick, was a standout at West Virginia** and the No. 4 overall pick in the 2021 WNBA Draft** by the Indiana Fever. She spent last season with the Chicago Sky, appearing in five games.
Before Brown, Gondrezick was in a relationship with Kevin Porter Jr., who was arrested in 2023 on domestic violence charges against her. He later pleaded guilty to reckless assault and harassment violations.
Meanwhile, Brown is thriving on the court, averaging 22.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.8 assists this season. The reigning NBA Finals MVP is set to make his fourth All-Star appearance this weekend in San Francisco.
