[Saba Sports News] Carlos Sainz, currently racing for Williams, was recently interviewed on a talk show where his father discussed not only racing topics but also his favorite football club, LaLiga’s Real Madrid. He openly admitted to being a fervent fan of Real Madrid and expressed his hope to one day join the management to contribute to the club’s operations. In the interview, the elder Sainz revealed that he once ran for a vice-chairman position at Real Madrid but unfortunately did not win. He said, “I once ran for a vice-chairman position at Real Madrid (in 2006). It was an interesting experience because I believed I could contribute to Real Madrid. Honestly, I believe I could do something for Real Madrid. If the club needs me at any point and I happen to be available, I would be happy to contribute.”
