[Saba Sports News] Recently, Charles Leclerc warned that Max Verstappen and Red Bull Racing have made a strong comeback, and the Dutch driver will definitely not hold back. Since introducing a new floor at the Italian Grand Prix, Red Bull has made significant progress. Verstappen has won two consecutive races, reducing the points gap in the Drivers’ Championship to 69 points with seven rounds remaining. This has also brought Red Bull back into contention for second place in the Constructors’ Championship. In contrast, Ferrari has been struggling recently, dropping to third in the Constructors’ Championship. Currently, only 18 points separate Mercedes, Ferrari, and fourth-ranked Red Bull. Verstappen and Red Bull’s recent strong performances have convinced Leclerc that their rivals have surpassed Ferrari in terms of performance. However, he believes Red Bull has not yet returned to the level of dominance they previously exhibited in the sport. Leclerc stated: “I think Max definitely won’t hold back, that’s for sure. I think they’ve made huge progress with the car, and now they are very strong. I think McLaren has had a tough time in the last two races. So, I don’t think Red Bull is dominating again yet.” Additionally, Charles Leclerc added: “I think the gap between McLaren and Red Bull is very small, but Max is currently performing better.”
