[Saba Sports News] According to German media reports, Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are set to purchase a second stadium, targeting the Haching Sports Park stadium currently used by club Unterhaching. The report states that the main reason for this acquisition is that Bayern’s current academy ground has a capacity of only 2,500, which is “too small” for the club. It also points out that Bayern Munich women’s team has proven its appeal during top matches held at the Allianz Arena, recently setting a record attendance of “over 50,000 spectators.” Therefore, Bayern Munich requires a larger stadium for its youth and women’s teams. The transaction is reportedly priced at approximately 7.5 million euros, and the new stadium has a capacity of 15,000 people. Negotiations are currently “at an advanced stage,” and Bayern has a “very high” chance of completing the purchase. Notably, after the transaction is completed, Unterhaching will be able to remain at the stadium as a “tenant.” Additionally, Bayern Munich has already had a cooperation agreement with this club in the youth development sector for “about a year.”
