[Saba Sports News] Recently, pictures widely circulated on social media showed Red Bull driver Yuki Tsunoda seemingly lost after arriving at Sao Paulo, Brazil’s airport. When traveling, F1 teams arrange staff to meet drivers at the airport gate to handle logistics. However, when Tsunoda arrived in Brazil, he was seen looking around the terminal for the person who was supposed to meet him. Images flooded social media showing a confused Tsunoda searching for his team representative at Sao Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport. From all social media posts, the Japanese driver eventually gave up the search and simply sat in the lobby waiting for the Red Bull team to find him. One post was captioned: “Yuki Tsunoda arrived on Tuesday morning; the Red Bull driver was completely lost because nobody expected him to come; he stayed in the lobby for a while.” In the Brazilian Grand Prix preview, Tsunoda acknowledged that the classic rain in Sao Paulo could cause chaos, and coupled with the Sprint event format, it could also bring rich rewards. He concluded that his focus is on helping the Red Bull team prevail in the battle for P2 in the Constructors’ Championship against rivals Mercedes and Ferrari, and aiding Max Verstappen in his fight for the win.
