[Saba Sports News] British media report that Axel Tuanzebe is suing Manchester United for over £1 million, alleging “medical negligence” in the club’s medical advice. Tuanzebe filed the lawsuit at the High Court in July this year. His career at United has been plagued by injuries, and court documents indicate he can no longer play football without restrictions or impediments. Tuanzebe states that if he wins the case, he “expects to receive over £1 million in compensation.” He joined United at eight, progressed through the ranks, and made his first-team debut in January 2017. His tenure included several injuries, including a season-ending one in December 2019 against Colchester United. The lawsuit details now reveal the core allegation concerns a left-sided pars fracture sustained in January 2020, a stress fracture injury in the lower spine which allegedly caused “significant pain and discomfort.” The suit further explains the issue became chronic after he suffered a similar injury on the right side of his lumbar spine in July 2022.
