[Saba Sports News] Former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, renowned for his wicketkeeping and batting skills, recently expressed that creating YouTube videos is not something he feels comfortable with. Despite his versatile abilities, Dhoni shared that he is self-conscious in front of the camera and prefers face-to-face interactions. He humorously remarked that, given his moody nature, he might create a few videos and then not produce any for a long time, similar to his infrequent Instagram posts.
“Just now I was talking about this. Someone even asked me the same. Woh bolte hai ‘mere se na ho payega’ (I won’t be able to do it), because it’s very tough. I won’t say I am very camera conscious but it doesn’t come to me. So, I am very happy having a one on one conversation. I am more of an in-person kind of a man. When it comes to YouTube I don’t think I will be able to do it. Plus I am moody. It might happen that I will make three-four videos, then like my Instagram, put another video after one year,” Dhoni was heard sharing in the video
Dhoni, who has retired from international cricket, continues to be a fan favorite and remains active in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He has been retained by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for the 2024 IPL season. The 42-year-old recently led CSK to their fifth IPL title in 2023, defeating Gujarat Titans in the final.
After the season, he underwent left knee surgery and has since recovered, having played the season with his knee strapped. Dhoni expressed his desire to return to the field, motivated by the immense support and love from his fans during the 2023 season.
