Turkish Super League side Galatasaray are interested in Jorginho and despite the Premier League transfer window closing on August 30, some leagues outside England are still struggling to complete new signments. Galatasaray, who have spent the summer focusing on midfield options including Casemiro and Scott McTominay, now appear to be turning their attention to Jorinho.

However, Arsenal are understood to be reluctant to let the midfielder go. Jorginho has been a key part of Mikel Arteta’s plans and is likely to continue to play an important role as the season goes on. In addition, he extended his contract with Arsenal in May 2024. Jhojinho played 36 games in all competitions for Arsenal in 2023-24, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
