[Saba Sports News] Didier Deschamps, the coach of the French team, spoke in a recent interview about the form of Kylian Mbappe, one of the team’s key players. Despite Mbappe’s recent lack of effectiveness, Deschamps remains confident about his future.

“Will he find the 2022 level again? I have no reason not to think so, and I hope so. He is in a complicated period, with some difficulties, but that does not affect what he does. He needs to find that he can still perform well, even if he’s been less effective this year.”
For Mbappe’s position on the pitch, Deschamps conducted an in-depth analysis. “Mbappe can play in multiple positions. Of course, when he is a centre-forward, his style is different to Olivier Giroud, depending on who we are playing against. He prefers to play on the left of the centre rather than on the right. Although at REAL Madrid he prefers to play on the right, which involves the overall balance of the team.”
