(SabaSports) Serie A officials have released a list of shirt numbers for all the teams for the new season, including Fiorentina, and, surprisingly, Fiorentina’s No. 10 player, Nico Gonzalez, is not on the list.
Fiorentina had previously announced that Gonzalez would continue to play in the number 10 shirt for the new season, but according to Football Market, Gonzalez is very close to leaving Fiorentina and a final decision on his transfer could be made next week. Gonzalez’s number 10 shirt is expected to be handed over to Arnor Gudmundsson, who is not on the official list.
Niko Gonzalez is almost certain to join Juventus. The deal is reported to be a lease with a mandatory buyout clause for a total transaction of just over 30 million euros. Gonzalez will be offered a 1-plus-4 deal worth €3.5m a year, €500,000 more than he earned at Fiorentina.
