[Saba Sports News] Former F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone recently stated that he can easily envision Christian Horner joining Ferrari, describing the Italian team as being in a state of complete chaos. Since Horner left Red Bull Racing in July, his next move has been a focal point of external attention, and he himself is actively planning a return to the paddock. The 52-year-old Horner, who built Red Bull into a multiple-world-championship-winning team, is one of the most successful team principals in recent times. After his departure, he has been linked with Aston Martin, Alpine, and even Ferrari. However, these teams currently have stable leadership structures, making it difficult for Horner to take over immediately. Meanwhile, it is reported that Horner has secured financial backing and may attempt to establish an 11th F1 team or acquire an existing team to return to the sport. When discussing Horner’s future, Bernie suggested that Ferrari might need Horner more, especially since even team chairman John Elkann has begun publicly criticizing both drivers. It is said that Ferrari had contacted Horner before his dismissal from Red Bull, but the negotiations did not yield results at the time. Now, with both sides’ circumstances having changed, the possibility may once again be on the table.
